In the second half of this interview with CWA Local 7250 president Kieran Kieran Frazier Knutson, we focused on labor’s political role. As the Derek Chauvin trial was ongoing at the time, the issue of the police was a natural part of the discussion (although it would have been anyway). We also discussed the relationship between the unions and the Democratic Party and whether building a working class party is a step to be aimed for. Also discussing these issues is Cheryl Zuur, former president of AFSCME Local 444.
