This is the first part of a two part interview with recently elected president of CWA Local 7250, Kieran Frazier Knutson​. In this first part, Kieran mainly discusses how he sees his role as president as well as some of the issues with AT&T and the orientation of the labor movement as a whole. The second part focuses mainly on labor’s political involvement. In both parts, the issue of labor’s involvement – or lack of involvement – with the protests against white supremacy is discussed.
