In 2016, in recognition of the heroic Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, Oaklandsocialist published a review of the book The Ghetto Fights. Written by one of the very few surviving fighters of that uprising, Marek Edelman, it is one of the greatest history books written. Occasionally it is available as a used copy, but often the only available editions are collectors’ editions that cost from a couple of hundred dollars to several thousand. Here it is as a pdf. It is well worth your reading.
