We interview Mike LaPointe, candidate for office from the State of Washington’s 2nd district, and activist in Occupy Everett. Mike is an example of what seems to be a new trend to run for public office outside of the Democratic/Republican straightjacket – the most striking example of which is Kshama Sawant in Seattle.
