Middle East

Poem: “Where will they wander?”

Where will they wander?
by Anonymous

Where will these Zionists wander next,
with their bombast of Biblical
entitlements,
their A-bombs and Uzis in hand,
to conquer homelands
where others reside?

Whose ancient homes and orchards
will they bulldoze next? Which people
will they
destroy?

And when their long-lived alliance
with the lords of petroleum—
whose power they were empowered to uphold—
parches Tel Aviv and their orchards,
and Lake Galilee dehydrates to dust?

Where will they wander then
with their bombast, their Bible, and claims?

Oaklandsocialist notes: The author of this poem, who lives in an area with a lot of Zionists, requests their name be withheld due to a “well founded fear of retribution”. This shows who is really being repressed – the Zionists or those who oppose them.
