Hi, I’m hoping you can help me determine whether or not I can vote for Mr. Reimann in the forthcoming mayoral election.
I was planning to give my first preference vote to Mr. Reimann, but candidate Seneca Scott has claimed that “every candidate not on council joined (Peter) Liu at a dinner…that he (Liu) paid for.”
If this is true, I will obviously need to withhold my vote from Mr. Reimann – as choosing to attend a dinner with Peter Liu would seem to be an endorsement of that candidate’s fascist policies.
Thanks in advance for any information you can share.
Not only have I never had dinner with Peter Liu, I am the only candidate to publicly denounce him as a fascist. I did so at a zoom forum and was muted as a result. Neither Seneca Scott nor any other candidate spoke up. See:

Thank you, John, for running this November. I was glad to be able to vote for someone who opposes the stadium project, who advocates for free public transit, and who emphasizes the limitations of the electoral process.
