Park was the co-founder of Hines-Park Food, later bought by Proctor and Gamble, where Park was an executive for many years. He was also the owner of a media conglomerate, Park Communications. The Goldman Foundation is also a major donor. This foundation was founded by the Republican businessman, Richard Goldman, who was married to Rhoda Haas Goldman, an heiress to the Levi Strauss fortune. As a “passionate” supporter of Israel, it is unlikely that Goldman is very concerned about the wate rights of the Palestinians, whose water rights Israel steals daily.

Then there is the Sierra Club, the largest environmental organization in the US with a total income of $51.9 million in 2010 and assets totaling $15.9 million. The Sierra Club has links with the likes of T. Boone Pickens, the billionaire Republican oil investor. Through the interactive web map on Muckety.com, one can find the links of the Sierra Club through intermediaries to the American Coalition for Clean Coal Energy. They are also linked – through other intermediaries – to Clean energy Fuels Corp.
