A macabre dance of vampires in the Persian Gulf!

And after Iran, what? Because the war against the ayatollahs’ Iran will not last forever. And Trump will surely need to invent another major international crisis or another war in order to remain in power at home, in the United States of America. A power that is not only already faltering, but also and above all threatened by the outcome of next November’s midterm elections, which could prove fatal to him.

So here we are at the heart of the problem. Or rather, the puzzle of Trump’s motivations and tactical choices. Why his war against Iran? Quite simply because, according to him, he needed to restore his image as quickly as possible and regain the initiative at a time when his popularity is plummeting and his policies are dividing even his staunchest supporters in the MAGA movement. Hence his lack of preparation, his improvisations, and the glaring contradictions in his statements and tactical choices, which our leaders and their media still cannot… decipher.

So, should we conclude that Trump is really afraid of losing the midterm elections and, as a result, being removed from office by a Senate and Congress that , have a Democratic majority? For several months now, our answer has been categorical: he is so afraid of losing these elections that he is willing to do anything to stay in power. Including canceling these elections by any means necessary! “Legal” and illegal! In fact, Trump is already preparing (unconstitutional) electoral tampering by proposing the “nationalization” of the elections. But with a proliferation of bad polls and very poor results in various special and local elections, everything indicates that he is ready to go even further. According to several American media outlets, Trump has been considering a draft executive order drawn up by MAGA activists that would declare a national state of emergency and impose voting restrictions, such as a ban on mail-in voting. But that’s not all. Even leading figures in the MAGA movement who have broken with Trump, such as former Congresswoman Marjorie Greene, are now warning that Trump could very well declare a state of emergency by invoking the war against Iran or any other crisis or war of his own invention in order to outright cancel the midterm elections next November…

In short, much depends on the course and, above all, the final outcome of the war against Iran. Contrary to Trump’s initial wish or prediction, when he declared on February 28 to the American website Axios that he “could end the war in 2-3 days,” this war is continuing dangerously for him and no one dares to predict how long it will last. Moreover, a very recent precedent, Putin’s war against Ukraine, argues against the American president’s triumphalist delusions: launched to end victoriously in four days, the Russian offensive against Ukraine is floundering, dragging on and has now lasted more than four years, due to the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people, which neither Putin’s friends nor his enemies could have predicted!

Meanwhile, it must be noted that very rarely, if ever, has a war been as unpopular at its outset as Trump’s war against Iran. And it must also be noted that, with the help of the exemplary popular mobilizations in Minneapolis, the new Socialist Democratic mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, is inspiring others who are winning primary and other elections across the United States, both in the south and in the north! And Mamdani had already declared on the first day of this war: ” Today’s military strikes on Iran – carried out by the United States and Israel – mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace. “

So, could we say that Trump is falling into the trap he himself created? That he has trapped himself? Undoubtedly, and we can trust him to do everything possible to sink even deeper into the Iranian trap. An uneducated and totally incompetent megalomaniac, lacking any competent advisors and surrounded by insignificant upstarts whose only merit is their extreme servility, Trump likes to repeat that God himself protects him and has entrusted him with the divine mission of saving America. Just as Hitler liked to repeat that “Providence” protected him and had entrusted him with the mission of saving Germany. Nevertheless, compared to Hitler’s messianism, Trump’s is nothing but a cheap imitation… but just as dangerous and deadly.

But what about the other players in this war? What about all those more or less artificial microstates in the Persian Gulf, which are now being swept up, despite themselves, in the destructive maelstrom of the fascist messianisms of Trump and Netanyahu? If Trump has one merit, it is that the extreme brutality of his words, his actions, and their chain of consequences often reveal the realities of our time, meticulously concealed behind the heavy curtains of information manipulation and industrial-scale brainwashing. One example is the most emblematic of these micro-states in the Persian Gulf, Dubai, which Romaric Godin masterfully dissects with rare insight in his article entitled Dubaï sous les bombes, la fin des illusions, (Dubai under the bombs, the end of illusions), the final paragraphs of which are reproduced below: “Money can’t do everything. Sometimes reality resurfaces. On Monday, March 1, the drone that crashed into the Burj Khalifa reminded the crowd of naive people who thought that “their world,” Dubai, was sheltered from the world and its chaos of this cruel truth. The panic was commensurate with this awakening. And now those who had left the West, that “fiscal hell” on the brink of civil war, were seeking to return at all costs.

The fact is that, ultimately, the capital of the 21stcentury has the weaknesses of its era. Destructive denial inevitably leads to chaos. Dubai is the capital of the predatory and authoritarian capitalism of our time. It is the showcase of a world where destruction is increasingly becoming an economic solution, but also of a world where those who decide on destruction believe that money will protect them.

This drone has shattered that illusion. The world of Dubai is a self-destructive madness. And behind the tears of the influencers lies a truth that they stubbornly refuse to accept: the world of capital is destroying the real world. And we have no other. (1)

And it is precisely because “we have no other” that a piece of information posted on the CNN website on the fifth day of the war was ignored, even though it was directly related to this war and its stakes. Here is what it was about: “According to a new study, sea levels along the world’s coastlines are much higher than previously thought, exceeding 3 feet in some areas, raising concerns that the scale of the threat and the speed at which coastlines could disappear have been underestimated.

Global coastal sea level is on average around 1 foot higher than currently assumed, the report found, with some places — such as Southeast Asia and parts of the Pacific — reaching up to 3 feet higher.

The findings suggest that if sea level rises by around 3 feet, it would put 37% more land under water than currently assumed, affecting up to 132 million people across the world”.

And as if this terrible news were not enough, almost immediately afterwards, on the sixth day of the war, the same website published another very alarming piece of information: scientists who were able to measure the acceleration of global warming for the first time found that “global warming has accelerated ‘significantly’ over the last ten years.” Indeed, “ The Earth warmed by about 0.2 degrees Celsius per decade between 1970 and 2015. Then, between 2015 and 2025, it warmed by 0.35 degrees, the study found — a 75% jump.”

The oceanographer and climatologist responsible for the study, German scientist Stefan Rahmstorf, concluded with these eloquent words: “ “I just could not have imagined that policymakers would get such clear evidence that we are heading into a very serious disaster for humanity and not act,” (2)

When we know that these “policymakers” are not only turning a deaf ear to the demands of scientists around the world, but worse, they are exacerbating an already catastrophic climate crisis by wreaking havoc in the Middle East, and more particularly in the Persian Gulf, in order to possess and exploit the very “black gold” that is the main cause of it, then we can better gauge the magnitude of the crime being committed in the Persian Gulf by these veritable vampires of humanity. A crime that has no parallel and cannot have a parallel in the history of this humanity, which has been crucified many times but is still standing…
