Trump and his Brown International:

Following in the footsteps of Hitler and Nazism!

The “National Security Strategy” published by the White House in early December is a very important document that must be taken very, very seriously. Why? Because it describes in detail and without mincing words what North American imperialism, reborn under Trump and Trumpism, is doing and plans to do. But there is more to it than that. This document should be seen as the reference text, or rather the bible, of the pure-blooded Brown International of our times, dominated by the Trump-Putin tandem! And of course, it is no coincidence that Putin was quick to declare, through his spokesman Dimitri Pescov, that the Trumpist document is “largely consistent” with Moscow’s vision.

It goes without saying that this similarity in the views of Trump and Putin is not new and is already manifesting itself in a barbaric and tragic way at the expense of the martyred Ukrainian people. But it is no longer just about Ukraine. By forcefully asserting that Trumpism will do everything in its power to enable European far-right (brother) parties, called “patriotic parties”, to come to power and govern their countries, the 33-page document positions itself as the unifying force and ideological and organizational center for all the far-right rabble in Europe. And also, all over the world, since Trump has already done everything, combining threats and blackmail, to enable his favorite Latin American far-right figures (in Argentina, Chile, and Honduras) to win elections. This is an absolute novelty on the part of American imperialism, which leads some to speak, not without reason, of the… “Russification” of the United States, given that Putin was already considered “the godfather and unifier of the international far right.” (1)

However, it is important to note that Putin and especially Trump do not support just any European or global far-right party. Through their actions, they have long since shown that they despise the so-called “soft” and pro-European far right and increasingly prefer to openly support those associated with neo-fascism and neo-Nazism! In France, not so much Le Pen but rather Zemmour. And in Great Britain, not so much Farage but rather Tommy Robinson. In Spain, it is those nostalgic for Franco, who are the supporters of Abascal’s Vox. And, of course, in Germany, it is the AfD and its wing that is openly nostalgic for the Third Reich.

In short, everything that is most violent, harsh, racist, homophobic, obscurantist, virilist, militarist, conspiracy-minded, and Nazi-fascist. So it is not surprising that all these fine people share with Putin and Trump the same “vision” of a Europe in full ‘civilizational’ and moral decline. A Europe which, according to Sergei Karaganov, Putin’s chief geopolitical adviser, “has once again become the most absolute expression of the Evil that is eating away at humanity.” For although this (neoliberal) Europe restricts, violates, or even outright abolishes the democratic rights and freedoms of its citizens, there are still enough of them left to provoke the ire of Trump, Putin, and their friends, who, like good fascists, want to abolish everything.

Abolish everything, like Putin, who has already created a Russia without human rights and collective freedoms (freedom of association, the right to strike, freedom of association, assembly, demonstration, freedom of the press). And also, like Trump, who is doing everything he can to imitate Putin and do even better than him. For example, a memo leaked in early December by US Attorney General Pam Bondi orders the Department of Justice and the FBI to draw up a list of groups that could be classified as “domestic terrorists.” So far, nothing very shocking. But everything changes and becomes nightmarish when the Attorney General explains what her memo means by “domestic terrorists.” According to her, these are American citizens who express “opposition to law and immigration enforcement; extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders“! Those who “adhere to radical gender ideology”, who profess “anti-Americanism,” “anti-capitalism,” or “ anti-Christianity ”! And also, all those who show “hostility toward traditional views on family, religion, and morality”! And all this with the help of a veritable army of informers who would denounce their neighbors, as Ms. Bondi’s document explicitly states. She “asks the FBI to upgrade its reporting system so that it can receive information from informants across the country who report threats of this kind.” (2)

So, those who believe that Trump’s repression is aimed solely at the left are very naive. In reality, Trump wants to lock up all his opponents, i.e., tens of millions of American citizens, which means opening dozens and hundreds of concentration camps! The similarities with what his mentor Hitler (3) said almost a century ago are striking. Addressing the big capitalists of northern Germany gathered in the Nationalclub on February 28, 1926, Hitler stated bluntly: “We have 15 million people in Germany who are anti-national, and as long as these 15 million (…) are not brought back into the fold of common national sentiment, everything that is said about economic recovery and national recovery is just meaningless chatter (…). It was to this end that the movement I am striving to grow and bring to power was founded some time ago. Its mission is clear: to destroy, to exterminate Marxism” (4)

We know what happened next. Hitler kept his word. Trump may be much more uneducated, chaotic, and confused than Hitler, but he also keeps his word. So, beware all those who, like their ancestors in the 1930s who called Hitler a harmless clown, persist in considering Trump’s very serious repeated statements warning us of his intentions to be mere bluster. Their “carelessness” is as criminal as that of their ancestors…

We already know the objections that will be raised by the usual incredulous university professors and other self-appointed “fascistologists,” who never took seriously either the danger of a European far right that was already skyrocketing 13-14 years ago, or the elective affinities between Nazism and Trumpism that were already emerging in 2016. Currently, they persist in claiming that the (very real) difficulties Trump is already encountering both outside and inside his country will force him to “calm down” and become more accommodating. Nothing could be further from the truth and more illusory. Throughout his life, both as an entrepreneur and as a politician, Trump has been and continues to be a believer in the adage “the best defense is a good offense.” Where others shy away from obstacles and difficulties, Trump always chooses to counterattack with increased determination and violence. So let’s not have any illusions. Trump despises and humiliates those who are servile and bow down before him, and only respects those who stand up to him without compromise. In short, as we have seen time and time again, Trump only believes in power relations.

So let’s be uncompromising and urgently build up this power! It will be very difficult, but there is nothing else we can do in the face of the terrible existential threat posed by Trump and his Brown International…

2Democracy Now!- Domestic Terrorism”: LeakedDOJ Memo Targets “Anti-Americanism, Anti-Capitalism, Anti-Christianity”

3. In 1990, Trump’s first wife Ivana revealed that her husband ‘reads a collection of Hitler’s speeches, entitled My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet near his bed’. Trump was quick to deny this, stating that the book was not a collection of Hitler’s speeches, but rather Mein Kampf, which had been given to him as a gift by a Jewish friend. When questioned by journalists, this ‘Jewish friend’ confirmed that he was not Jewish and that his gift to Trump was indeed a collection of Hitler’s speeches. This solves the mystery of the extraordinary similarities between some of Trump’s speeches and those of Hitler. 1. The Venezuela caper, the threats against Scheinbaum, all the other threats, the folly of the centrists’ putting faith in the positive results of the midterm elections–indeed, with the overrated Newsom already speaking of reconciliation with the maggats–all point to a crisis far deeper than anyone to the right of Oakland Socialist can even imagine. Things are not getting better: they are getting worse. The crisis is not something the Democratic Party can even comprehend, let alone resolve. What the United States are facing, in my opinion, is not some period of relatively stable “authoritarianism” but rather actual political and economic collapse. I continue to see bourgeois democracy as the only feasible alternative in the short term, but without unprecedented radical reform–clearly not ever in prospect as far as the Democrats are concerned–meaningful change does not appear very probable.
