Here’s a short video of the third day of the Oakland teachers strike. A couple of ideas for what could be done next:

• Build a state-wide student walk out to support the teachers, support public education, and as the start of a real youth movement to change the direction of America.
• Organize to shut down the city of Oakland, starting with holding the rallies in the intersection of 14th St. and Broadway.
• March on the Port of Oakland to shut down the port. Advance the demand that the Port pay taxes to the City of Oakland and to OUSD.
